T's and C's
Acceptance of quotation and payment of deposit will be taken as acceptance of the following terms and conditions. Please ensure you have read and fully understand what is written below. Please contact us if anything is not clear.
- No work will commence until the company has received approval of the quotation, a minimum deposit of 70% is required of the agreed costs (unless otherwise agreed in writing). This ensures that we are fully equipped to provide our best quality and highest level of service, from project inception through to completion. This also applies if a project is delivered in‘stages’ whereby a deposit will be required before proceeding to each new stage.2.

- All goods remain our property until project completion and fully paid, we reserve the right to remove all materials used/installed in any project should the client fail to settle the final balance within 24-48hrs, after completion without hesitation.
- Should the client request any Designs produced and whereby the client declines to undertake the companies services the client will be charged an amount of R5000.00 for all Designs surrendered to the client.
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, work will usually commence within 7 days of deposit receipt. Any anticipated completion date provided by the company is subject to options chosen and client co-operation in provision information, resource (project plan) and approval. The company will do its very best to ensure that agreed timelines are adhered to, but please be aware that circumstances, amends requested, or additional requirements may potentially result in delays. Time lines provided are estimated but the company will not be held liable if the project over-runs due to delays caused by the client or approval, or any third party issues or force majeure (act of God).
- All Work to be done will be in the scope of agreed upon quotation only, all extras and modification requests after acceptance will incur charges and billed accordingly.
- All modification requests by the client, will be attended to once the project undertaken has been completed, unless otherwise agreed to in writing and that the client will acknowledge that the delivered timelines will be affected.
- Should the client encounter any concerns, questions or requests with regards to the project, the client shall communicate directly with the Owner/Supervisor/Manager only. All Contractors or Staff of the company should not be contracted privately, by the client. The company accepts no liability and forfeits any guarentee for any work done privately, or where the client should purchase his/her own raw materials.
- Acceptance of quotation (email responses, phone messages, signatures or payment of deposit will be deemed as acceptance and acknowledgment of the following terms and conditions and confirmation of the project. The client agrees that any and all photographs related to the project undertaken remains the property of Qualiwood & Fibre Worx (Pty) Ltd (QFW) and all intellectual Property Rights are retained by
- No refunds on any raw materials ordered and a 15% surcharge will be charged on cancellation after acceptance of quotation.
11. All clients have within 5 days after completion to fill out a snag list, with the exception of fibreglass work, (eg swimming pools) fibreglass snags are compiled during the duration of the project and completed immediately. It will be deemed if no snags are reported within 5 days after completion of the project, the company will assume that the project has been satisfactorily completed.
12. All workmanship carries a 3-month guarantee; any repairs after 3 months will incur charges, with the exception of swimming pools which carries a 12 month guarentee providing the swimming pool has been properly maintained, the material has been provided by the company and all pool chemicals have been used correctly and whereby the pool has been filled by the recomeded timeline issued.
13. All Fibreglass manufactured products carries a 12 month guarentee against delamination only and providing the client has not damaged or neglected the aftercare of manufactured product, and where the client has not provided his/her own material.
14. The Company confirms that in cases where warranties provided by suppliers of the products apply to the products that defects and failures shall, if in the entire discretion of the Company it is necessary to do so, be referred to the supplier in accordance with the warranties.
15. If any project exceeds the estimated timeline agreed the company has the right to invoice 25% of any outstanding balance, with the remaining 5% payable on completion.
16. Should the company be Contracted by a Company whereby services will be rendered and none of the stipulated T’s & C;s apply a seperate service level agreement will be drafted and entered into that will superseed the current Terms and Conditions so stipulated. Should it be found that no seperate service level agreement was drafted the current T’s & C’s will apply.
17. The specific item code MISCLABO001 will be used in delivering of services only whereby the client will be supplying all required material regardless of its invoice description, at the time of quotation / invoice.
18. The client forfeits any guarentee from the company where he/she will be supplying his/her own materials or components be it fibreglass or wood work. The company accepts no responsibility for inferior products and the client will be charged a call out fee of R450.00 should the company be called out due to inferior products whereby the client has supplied his/her own components and where the company has found that the snags are unrelated to the project undertaken.
19. The Customer acknowledges and accepts that any and all intellectual property rights in any product which may form the component of products, documentation relating to the products or services and in the services supplied by the Company / Staff to its Customer vests in the Company or the owner of the intellectual property right, and will indicate this to his/her customers.
20. These terms and conditions of business supersede any previous versions and apply to all present and future projects unless otherwise agreed in writing. Qualiwood & Fibre Worx reserves the right to change or modify these terms at any stage within immediate effect. By agreeing to these terms, your statutory rights are not affected.
